Cold Temps, Warm Thanks

It was one of the coldest Thanksgivings on record in New England -- a high of 14 at our house! We were toasty and well fed, however -- thanks mostly to...you guessed it: Don the woodsman and turkey chef extraordinaire.

Mom arrived late-morning, and we watched the National Dog Show before dinner. It was extra fun this year, with Abby on the couch between Sarah and me. Let the record show that I picked the winner: Whiskey the Whippet. There was also lots of football, and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and The Mayflower Voyagers.

Lest you feel sorry for that little puppy in the background...she enjoyed her own pup-kin pie that Sarah made the day before.

We are all so very fortunate. As I like to say, we have all that we need and most of what we want. And we have each other, which is everything.
