Large and In Charge

Sarah started 6th grade yesterday -- 6th grade! And, much as I hate to admit it, she looks like a 6th grader. She's over five feet tall and wears size 6 shoes. While waiting for the bus in the driveway, she was slightly uphill from me, and we were eye to eye. I had a glimpse of the future, and it gave me a jolt!

We're all happy that her elementary school includes 6th grade, so she can enjoy the comfortable, low-key setting she's used to for another year. As a member of the oldest class, she's ready to rule the school...benevolently, of course.
