Given Sarah's recent interest in baseball, I made taking her to a game one of our summer goals. On a beautiful Saturday evening in July, we all went to see the local collegiate summer league team, the Valley Blue S*x, take on the Muskrats, from New H*mpshire.
Sarah loved the game and sat rapt the whole three hours. She watched every play and asked lots of questions. Afterward, she insisted on going onto the field to say "hello" to the players on each team. She talked about it for days. She definitely got her (i.e., my) $6 worth. And the Blue S*x won, even though their record was anything but stellar. I'm sure they'll be happy to have her back anytime.
