Watching Birds and Tracking Dinosaurs

I got to chaperon my first school field trip earlier this month.  Sarah's class wrapped up a unit on birds (very cool!) by going on a bird walk on a bike trail.  They then had lunch and some play time at a park before going to the Ben*ski Museum of Natural History at Amh*rst College.  There, they learned about fossils and saw free-standing skeletons of a mammoth, a mastodon, a cave bear, an Irish elk, and a saber-toothed cat. They also studied the world's largest collection of dinosaur tracks.
